Vintage Art - John August Swanson Serigraph "Noah Builds an Ark" Dated March 1974. Very Rare as this is an earlier piece during his religious art journey, Also pencil signed and numbered 46 / 70. We haven't seen this one hit eBay before! Now is your chance. 

With frame, it's 25 inches in wide, and 24 inches tall.

John August Swanson was a world-renowned contemporary artist whose works included many colorful depictions of stories from the Bible and other religious themes, mostly by Serigraphs, Etchings, and Lithographs. Born in 1938, he lived and worked most of his life in Los Angeles, CA, passing away in 2021.

Many of Swanson's beautiful works are on display in churches, universities, and museums around the world, including three museums of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, the Art Institute of Chicago, Harvard University’s Fogg Museum, the Tate Gallery in London, the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris, the Vatican Museum of Modern Religious Art, and many other institutions.
