Authentic 1920s Walter Hagen Concave Hickory Wood Sand Wedge | Antique 35" Golf Club with Original 17" Leather Grip.

Step back in time with this rare and exquisite piece of golfing history. A collector’s dream, this smooth concave faced sand wedge is one of the most sought after vintage wooden clubs. Patented in 1929 and banned in 1931 by the PGA for the possibility of the ball contacting the club face twice in one swing. Including a beautifully preserved original 17-inch leather grip, and perfectly stable original screwed in end-cap. 

This wooden club is in great condition, with minor scuffs on the leather and head from normal, but apparently very minimal use.
