Pair of 1950’s Vintage Essie Boovier Signed Real Gold Gilded 10.5” Plates MCM.
This beautiful vintage set of 2 plates are signed by the artist Essie Boovier, who spent most of her time in Los Angeles California. It is undated however she was active as a “china painter” in the early to mid 1900s. We’ve found this gold gilded design to be mid to late 50’s. She designed plates, vases and ash trays. These are in super clean condition, no crazing or major issues, however there is a slight chip on the BOTTOM of one of them. It doesn’t create wobble and it’s hardly noticible, yet we felt super important to disclose. Please see all photos for this.
